Keep the Active Lifestyle You Love with a Portable Breathing Machine

portable breathing machineAs an oxygen therapy patient, you’ve probably had to make a number of lifestyle adjustments. Maybe by now you’ve learned to live with certain restrictions, like not going where and when you want, but it’s frustrating, isn’t it? Have you ever been at a gathering or an event and suddenly realized that you’re running low on oxygen and had to leave in a hurry for fear you’d run out? Maybe at one point, you actually have run out and gone into a panic. Just imagine how much peace of mind you’d feel if you never had to worry about that again.

The Inogen One Portable Oxygen Concentrator (Portable Breathing Machine)

The Inogen One oxygen concentrator is a different kind of oxygen therapy solution that changes everything. It’s a portable oxygen concentrator (sometimes referred to as a portable breathing machine) that doesn’t rely on bottles of oxygen like an ordinary system. It makes its own oxygen so it never runs out! It’s a new option for those on oxygen that desire freedom and independence. The Inogen One oxygen concentrator doesn’t deliver O2 from a pre-filled bottle; it makes its own right from the air around you, wherever you happen to be, whether at home, in the park or enjoying a vacation.

The Inogen One portable oxygen concentrator does just what the name implies – it concentrates the oxygen already present in the air, giving you exactly what you need, whenever and wherever you need it. It’s also approved for use on all US commercial airlines. It is truly an oxygen therapy solution for the 21st century.

Doing what you want and engaging in activities without worrying about how much oxygen you have on hand can help you return to the lifestyle that you once new and appreciated. Wouldn’t it be great to have the freedom to do those things again? Which activities do you miss the most since going on oxygen? What would a portable oxygen concentrator allow you to do that you can’t do now?

Need to know power requirements for inogen 1
For charging, as I want to buy Power converter.
    12Volt to 110.

Hi Ro, Inogen portable oxygen concentrators use 110V AC however, we do not recommend using our portable oxygen concentrator with a converter. With a converter, you are adding another potential point of failure in the power stream – which is why we recommend only using one power source (DC or AC) at a time.

Which units are covered by Medicare.

    1. Inogen Inogen says:

Hi Chuck, Medicare coverage depends on a variety of factors including your region, your oxygen needs, and how long you've been on oxygen therapy. An Oxygen Specialist can check your Medicare insurance and can help you find out whether or not you are covered. To speak with an Oxygen Specialist, please call 1-800-374-9038.
