1) What’s the difference between Continuous Flow and Pulse-Dose Delivery?
Oxygen concentrators delivery oxygen in two ways: continuous flow dose delivery and pulse-dose delivery. Continuous flow dose delivery supplies a constant, steady, and reliable oxygen flow based on the setting number in liters per minute (LPM), while pulse-dose mode delivers a pulsed “bolus” of oxygen when the user begins to take a breath.[1]
Stationary oxygen concentrators typically provide continuous flow oxygen (such as Inogen® Voxi 5™ or Inogen®at Home™) Many small portable oxygen concentrators, like the Rove 4™ and Rove 6™ made by Inogen, provide pulse dose oxygen delivery to offer the most customized oxygen therapy experience for you. 4) How many hours does a POC battery last on one charge?

Batteries naturally lose capacity over time. Older batteries don’t last as long as new ones. Extreme heat or cold can also reduce their performance. All Inogen batteries have an expected service life of 500 cycles.
