Dear Life Changers, I would like to express my appreciation for the G3 concentrator I now possess. I can't put into words how much your G3 device changes my life.  Every portable unit that I am aware of (other than yours) is heavy and unwieldy. That extra weight adds effort and more effort means more oxygen is required. I have asbestosis..a result of 30 years in the U.S. Navy. I do not begrudge that, I dearly loved my career. I just wish the VA was a little more positive with their actions in dealing with it. The VA thinks that I am lucky not to have MESO..I DON'T! I am slowly suffocating and will eventually die of O2 deprivation (if something else doesn't kill me first). I'm 75, that may happen. The VA is willing to pay for a home unit, but I need a portable unit. I HAVE A LIFE and THANKS TO YOU I don't intend to waste away on my sofa. At present, I do not need oxygen when sitting or "around the house" inconsequential movement. I only need O2 (or a lengthy break to recover) when exerting my core muscles or walking more than 100 feet (less if uphill). I'm glad I can still recover. My ability to absorb O2 is noticeably waning with time. Prior to getting your G3 unit, I had a (fairly) small portable unit provided through Medicare. It was heavy and hard to deal with if doing anything other than walking. They set their requirement for providing a unit to persons with a blood oxygen reading of 88. Well, mine was 90 and I had to turn my portable unit in or pay for it out of my pocket. It didn't matter that even medical people were shocked when seeing me huffing and puffing after any effort. When I had my knee replaced, my nurse refused to sign my release without being provided with O2. My blood oxygen was still at 90. She said and I quote, "Your face is gray!". When I heard (TV) about your unit, it's design and portability intrigued me. It is lighter than the other and much easier to use. I'll be getting the backpack and a second battery from you as soon as I can afford to and that will make it still easier to use. I have to closely monitor the use of my G3 unit right now to prevent running out of battery when I most need it. A second battery is very high mandatory, and thank you for the forethought to design the backpack. Your unit also has several features such as breath metering that I think are very nice. When I had the Medicare provided unit, I had to keep thinking "In thru the nose, out thru the mouth". That is not required with the G3. THANK YOU again.

Janice loves her freedom with her Inogen One G4

I was gifted the Inogen G4 by a very good friend who didn't want my condition to slow me down any. I had a lung lobe removed last May due to cancer. I had a very stubborn air leak after the surgery and was in the hospital for 6 weeks. I can assure you that I was the most popular kid on the thoracic surgery floor as I was the only one with an Inogen G4 which allowed me to walk without having to wait for the nurses to hook up my oxygen. After I left the hospital, I was back in my classroom teaching and having dinner out with family and friends.

I have made 4 referrals to Inogen in reference to the G4, two of whom I know have purchased and very probably the third. Having the G4 has made walking my dog, doing my work, dining with friends, and generally DOING MY LIFE something that is only slightly different than what I was doing prior to becoming ill. I hope that as I continue to heal from the surgery and regain my strength, I will only need my G4 periodically. I am 68 1/2 yrs. young and do have COPD (from smoking up until 3 years ago); however, with the cancer out and my G4, I am looking for a lot more fin in my life. Next week, I have a four-day trip to the Appalachians in VA planned with a friend and our Shih-Tzus. Thank you Inogen for this wonderful machine and for all that you do.

I received my Inogen G4, I can't contain my excitement to freedom. This product was so easy to assemble, and it only weighs 2.8 lbs. Finally, I will be able to travel, go to upcoming fall festivals, and more. No longer am I using heavy tanks, or have the worry that goes along with other systems. Ophelia Sebastian walked me through everything. Her main goal was hearing that I was completely satisfied. I can't tell you how closely she worked with me. I would highly recommend this system. The Inogen G4 is life changing. Thank you!

Getting my tan on at South Padre Island, TX. My Inogen buddy is purring away in the shade too. Grateful for a lighter machine than the one provided by Medicare. On various flights, I’ve had no raised eyebrows at check-in.

On various flights, I've had no raised eyebrows at check-in. Seems they're a familiar sight. Yes, I have to use oxygen daily, but I have things to do!!!! #Inogentravel

    Shirley and her Inogen One
I have lung cancer & COPD. I purchased my Inogen over a year ago & I truly do not know what I would do without it.I am able to go anywhere without hardly any time restrictions. Recently, I purchased a back up battery just for the convenience of not having to charge very often. With the batteries I have I can go for 8 to 9 hours at setting 2 without having to charge. I am contemplating getting the portable charger to extend my time even further. For me this has been a Godsend; would recommend to anyone. Previously I had tried 2 other portable units & found they were too heavy for me or just awkward to handle.
